ResumeAI ("the App") is a resume builder for iOS. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Resume data you provide: name, contact details, work experience, education, skills, and other information you enter into the App. This data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
AI Enhancement: When you use the AI enhancement feature, your resume content is sent to our secure server to generate suggestions. We do not store your resume data on our servers — it is processed in real time and discarded immediately after the response is returned.
Profile photo: If you add a photo, it is stored locally on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers.
The AI enhancement feature uses OpenAI's API (via our secure proxy server) to process resume content. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to the processing of that data. No personally identifiable information is stored by our proxy beyond the duration of a single request.
All resume data is stored locally on your device. Our server does not maintain any database of user content. Communication with our server is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
You can delete any resume or your profile data at any time within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. Since we do not store data on our servers, no server-side deletion is necessary.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
